Getting outside. Learning patience. Sitting quietly at the water's edge - watching, waiting, thinking. For a lot of us, fishing isn't just a hobby. It is where we find something. A bit of calm. A sense of place. A reason to put the phone down.
Children are spending more time than ever on screens and less time in nature. The Little Voyagers Project is our answer to that - a long-term commitment to getting young people outdoors, into fishing, and part of a community that'll stay with them for life.
That means free starter kits for children who want to try fishing but whose families can't afford the kit. It means youth fishing days at local club waters, with proper coaching in a safe environment. It means building a dedicated fishing club where young anglers can meet, learn and grow together. And it means working with schools and youth groups to make sure background is never a barrier to getting outside.
The free kit is the beginning. The community is the point.
What your child gets as a member
Membership is free. Sign up on behalf of your child and they become part of the Little Voyagers Club - with real benefits that start straight away. Members can also register interest for future free starter kit giveaways.
Membership does not guarantee a free starter kit. Joining the club simply gives parents the opportunity to register their child's interest for future giveaways. When funding targets are reached, complete kits are built and a random selection of registered families are contacted by email.

How the kit giveaway works
Create a free Little Voyagers Membership on behalf of your child.
When a giveaway opens, confirm your interest via the link we send by email.
We compile the list and make a random selection. The more the fund grows, the more kits we give away.
Lucky families are notified by email. You only need to register once and confirm for each giveaway.
A complete starter kit - rod, reel and tackle - delivered at no cost to the family.
Three ways to help
Every penny raised goes directly into the Little Voyagers kit fund. No admin cut, no middle man. You contribute, we build, a child gets the opportunity to start fishing.
