Heavy Rock Fishing (HRF)
is a saltwater lure fishing style designed for battling powerful species like wrasse, bass, and pollack in rough, rocky ground. Using strong rods, lines, and heavier lures, HRF tackles snags and heavy cover with confidence. Generally used with reels of size 3000 and up with a good strength braid or mono.
What makes HRF gear great is its versatility, the same setup is perfect for targeting pike, zander, and even salmon in freshwater. If you fish snaggy rivers, deep reservoirs, or structured lake margins, HRF gear offers the strength and control you need on both salt and freshwater fronts.
